Puppies are 10 days old! Although their eyes and ears are still closed, they manage to find their mamma very easily! Lovie is attentive and taking good care of her babies. 7/13/25 Click on photos to enlarge gallery.
Two weeks old - Puppies are beyond cute! Eyes are open, and puppies are beginning to toddle around. They are very vocal and active! Exposure to toys and a variety of objects begins. 7/20/25
Puppies are three weeks old ~ they are moving around much more easily and are beginning to play with toys and wrestle with each other. Puppies are loving their meals from the saucer! When enjoying their food, we play PupSchool. PupSchool is a noise de-sensitization app with many common sounds that can be frightening unless they are paired early on with a positive reinforcer (food - yum!). 7/25/25
At four weeks old, puppies are having their first adventures in our small outdoor space. It's great to see them begin to run and explore! We also began social visits over the weekend, and our visitors and puppies had positive fun together. 8/2/25
Puppies are five weeks old! They are playing in the big puppy yard and enjoying discoveries there. In larger spaces, their gross motor skills and muscles really develop. Lovie has moved out, and puppies are self-crating, which is a great first step in crate training. They are a very good-looking bunch of puppies! 8/9/25
Six into seven weeks old, there is so much going on! Puppies' gross motor skills like running are really developing. We've begun feeding in crates, starting in pairs to build confidence and moving onto eating solo. Pairing crates with meals builds positive associations. Our trip to the vet was terrific - all puppies are healthy. Our vet's office is always so welcoming to our golden babies. Last, the mischief has begun. You can see the puppies conspiring with Jersey to dig a hole between the two runs. Success! Several puppies joyfully escaped into the big run. Puppies begin to go home this week ~ they are a delight!
