5/18 Puppies are already a week old. As you can see from her smile, Roxy enjoys being a mama!
5/25 Puppies are two weeks old! Eyes and ears are opening, and puppies are beginning to toddle around. They are also growing rapidly, as you may see in the progression of photos. One basic tool for caring for young puppies is a daily weight check. The weigh-in is a critical measure of whether puppies are thriving. We began ENS on day 3 and puppies are tolerating the 5 simple exercises well. Roxy is an excellent mamma!
5/31 Puppies are 3 weeks old! They are growing rapidly and are beginning to look more like puppies than cute little potatoes. Puppies' eyes and ears are open and they are on their feet. Puppies are hungry all the time, so supplemental feeding has begun. There are toys that make noise in their space, and we change them frequently and vary the texture and size to diversify the experience. Puppies still spend most of their time sleeping!
